This is my way of working album reviews into the site. I buy a lot of music that doesn’t get reviewed in Rolling Stone or even on allmusic.com so this is a way to spread the word. I’m limiting myself to 250 words per review to keep them short and concise hopefully. I also use the standard 5 star rating system and will assign a number of stars based on not only the music but other factors as well including artwork and liner notes.
Most reviews will get a high number of stars. This is because I have a pretty good idea the music is good before I ever spend my money on it. The reviews aren’t for promos that labels are sending out so everything will likely fall in the 3-5 star range.
