WHO’S PERFORMING? Comedians Steve Sabo, Jake Dickey & Brian Myers
WHAT TO EXPECT? Hopefully laughter!
Three seasoned comedians will fill the stage for a night of comedy. Brian Myers has a dark, crude sense of humor that is bound to push the limits of decency at some point. Jake Dickey has a strange twist on observational humor that always turns into a dialogue of what happens under the covers.
Headliner Steve Sabo touts an impressive resume that includes HBO, NBC and Comedy Central. His energetic, comedic delivery is hard to ignore and lures you into his warped point of view. Sabo plays off the audience and like most comedians uses their laughter to build his set.
WHERE IS IT? The Cafe Acoustic, 2605 Frederick Ave., St Joseph, MO 64506
WHEN IS IT? Sunday, April 14, 2013; 8:00pm, 21+ $12 advance ($15 day of show)
WHY SHOULD I GO? Laughing is infectious. Think about how much funnier movies are in the theater with a hundred or so other people laughing with you. You will laugh, out loud. There will be no brick wall as a backdrop or even a red curtain but the small venue should morph into a box of laughs. Smoking is encouraged; drinking is strongly encouraged and it’s even on a Sunday night. It will give you something to look forward to while you are in church; or more likely, something to do instead of church. If somebody doesn’t get offended; it wasn’t a good show.
